“忒”字释义演变及其对词典编纂的启示

The Evolution of Interpretation of“Tui”and Its Enlightenment on the Compilation of Dictionaries

"忒"字在现代汉语中通常用作程度副词,有"太、过甚"之义。通过查阅字书辞书发现,"忒"字还有"变更""差错""疑惑"以及象声词等多种用法及意义。由于这些意义现代使用较少,因此一些辞书对其义项收录较为零散,不同时期的辞书对释义的处理也不尽相同,有时会出现同证异解、释义相左等现象。从历时角度出发,对"忒"字字书辞书释义的演变进行梳理分析,可为语义探源及字书辞书的编纂和修订提供参考。

The word＂Tui＂is usually used as a degree adverb in modern Chinese. It has the meaning of＂too＂. By referring to the dictionaries of various periods,it is found that there are many usage paraphrases such as＂change＂,＂error＂,＂doubt＂and onomatopoeia. As these definitions have been developed to a lesser extent today,some dictionaries contain fragments of their meanings. Different dictionaries have different interpretations of the meanings,and sometimes dictionaries of different period have different interpretation. From the diachronic perspective,the paper analyzes the evolution of the interpretation of＂Tui＂in dictionary,and puts forward some suggestions on how to explore the source of semantic and compile or revise the dictionary.
