摘要 The course of college English translation is of vital importance in enhancing students' translating skills, comprehending bilateral cultures—the original one and the target one, transmitting Chinese classics to the world and promoting effective communication. In terms of translating classic works, cultural integration strategy is quite an essential way to bridge cultural gap. This article aims at illustrating the significant role of cultural integration strategy in translating Chinese classic works by analyzing Ku Hunming's translation of Zhong Yong, including his translating motivation, strategy and effect, to improve college English translation teaching, especially in translating Chinese classics abroad.
