从文献角度看罗振玉旧藏铜活字

Research into the Bronze Movable-type Characters Once Collected by Luo Zhenyu

2018年春,有中国收藏者从日本发现一匣据记录为罗振玉旧藏的古代铜活字,这一发现填补了中国印刷史研究中没有早期活字实物的空白,学术意义重大。为此,有关方面组织了版本学、金属学、钱币学和印刷史研究的学者进行研究鉴定。本文在作者《对罗振玉旧藏早期铜活字的初步研究》之后重点查考古代典籍中与铜活字印刷有关的历史资料,进一步钩稽传世文献并有所得,同时在日本学者的帮助下释读了"假预证"的文字和所涉人事,以期对这批铜活字的研讨更加深入。

In the spring 2018, a Chinese collector discovered a box of ancient bronze mova- ble-type characters in Japan. According to the record on the box, they once belonged to Luo Zhe- nyu, a Chinese classical scholar, philologist, epigrapher, antiquarian and Qing loyalist. This dis- covery is of great academic significance because it has filled up the vacancy of study on early-peri- od movable-type characters in reach of the Chinese printing history. Relevant authority organized scholars in the fields of bibliology, metallography, numismatics and printing history research to study and authenticate those bronze movable-type characters. After writing A Preliminary Research into the Early-period Bronze Movable-type Characters Once Collected by Luo Zhenyu, the author has written the present paper with a focus on historic materials related to bronze-type printing in ancient books. The author has pursued the literature handed down for covery, and interpreted the texts, people and things related to the ＂ gen Tem erations that enables dis- porary Custodian Certifi- cate＂ with the help of Japanese scholars, so as to deepen the understanding of those bronze mova- ble-type characters.
