Publishing of History Textbooks for the Middle School Students by the Yuelu Press in the Past Two Decades

出版与教育都肩负着立德树人的使命。岳麓书社是全国除人民教育出版社外唯一一家拥有全国通用版整套中学历史教材的出版社。二十年来,岳麓版初高中历史教材践行立德树人的初心和砥砺成书的匠心,潜心耕耘,推动中学历史课改,不但在新世纪中小学教材史上留下了自己的印迹,同时还展现了地方出版集团依托政策谋发展、努力壮大国有资产的公心和壮心。

Both publishing and education have the mission of setting high moral values and cultivating people. Besides the People＇s Education Press, Yuelu Press is one of the two publishing houses designated by the Chinese government to publish the whole set of history textbooks for the middle school students （universal edition in China）. Over the past two decades, Yuelu Press has devoted itself to the reform of middle-school history teaching while publishing history textbooks for junior and senior high middle schools by staying true to the mission of setting high moral values and cultivating people and making painstaking efforts for excellence. The endeavors have not only left footprints in the history of primary ＆ middle-school textbook history but also showcased the strong determination of a local publishing group to seek development and increasing state assets in accordance with policies
