摘要 电子游戏正在向电子竞技转型,其影响力与吸引力巨大。当前流行的诸多游戏由国外公司开发,由中国公司引入,并进行本地化改造。游戏本地化工作包含技术本地化与语言本地化两部分,其中语言信息翻译是游戏本地化中的重要内容。以功能翻译为理论指导,对大型电子游戏《英雄联盟》中角色名称及其台词的中文本地化翻译进行实例分析与深入探讨,并探索MOBA类型游戏本地化翻译的方法,从而加深对游戏本地化的理解,提高游戏本地化翻译的质量。 E-games are transforming to e-sports,which have huge influence and attraction.Many current popular games are developed by foreign companies,introduced to China by local companies and then localized.Game localization involves two parts:localization of technology and localization of language,in which language information processing is of great importance.Based on the functional translation theory,this paper,through the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the Chinese translation of role names and role lines,investigates the characteristics of localized translation of MOBA type game and explores the localized translation methods of MOBA games by taking League of Legends as an example,so as to deepen the understanding of game localization and improve the quality of localized translation in games.
