摘要
目前波长为1310 nm和1550 nm的光在单模光纤中传播时的背向散射系数的具体数值是多少,还没有精确的答案。为了得到波长为1310 nm和1550 nm的光在单模光纤中传播时的准确瑞利背向散射系数,本文做了以下工作:首先根据理论推导出了瑞利背向散射系数与回波损耗、衰减系数的关系;然后再通过试验测定波长为1310 nm和1550 nm的光在单模光纤中传播时的衰减系数和回波损耗;最后根据推导出的关系式和测试结果,得到波长为1310 nm和1550 nm的光在单模光纤中传播时的准确瑞利背向散射系数。
At present,there is no accurate backscattering coefficient of the light with the wavelength of 1 310 nm or 1 550 nm transmitted in the single mode fiber. To achieve the accurate Rayleigh backscattering coefficient,the relationship between Rayleigh backscattering coefficient,return loss,and attenuation coefficient was theoretically deduced and the attenuation coefficient and return loss were tested by experiments. Thus,the accurate backscattering coefficient of the light with the wavelength of 1 310 nm or 1 550 nm transmitted in a single mode fiber was calculated and determined based on the deduced formula and measurement results.
