Nanshe member Zhou Xiangjun＇s social connection and influence typically reflected marginalized scholars＇ literary world in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. As a local squire,Zhou Xiangjun established a new-type literati-based intellectual connections in Xuzhou and set up a Nanshe-centered network as a result of his Shanghai trip. Besides receiving influences of the era,he also responded and influenced the literary world at that time in one way or another.
