Vocational students skills competition is the most important competition for vocational colleges, which is showcase for school education level, faculties＇ teaching level and students＇ practical ability. The competition is of help to promote major construction, enhance curriculum reform, and improve school education level. Taking business English major as an example, the paper is to analyze the improvement of major construction as well as the problems and provide solutions.
