摘要 offload主要指将原本在软件协议栈中进行的IP分片、TCP分段、重组、checksum检验等操作转移到网卡硬件中进行,以降低系统CPU负荷、提高处理性能。文章提出了基于offload的机制,用FPGA实现网卡功能以高速传输网络数据,并通过FPGA编码在网络数据中加入时间戳用于流量控制。 Offload mainly refers to transferring IP fragmentation, TCP segmentation, reorganization, checksum test etc., which are originally carried out in the software protocol stack, to the network card hardware to reduce system CPU load and improve processing performance. An offload-based mechanism is proposed which uses FPGA to implement network card functions to transmit network data at high speed. At the same time, time stamp is added to network data to control traffic control through FPGA coding.
