Excellent traditional Chinese culture provides rich cultural resources and methods for college students to cultivate core socialist values, which is an effective carrier of core socialist values education for college students. This paper explores the current situation of the cultivation of core socialist values from the perspective of traditional culture, and puts forward the paths and methods of cultivating socialist core values of college students with excellent traditional Chineseeulture as the carrier, in order to improve the effect of cultivation.
