城市蔓延对城市全要素生产率的影响——基于地级市面板数据的分析 被引量:8

摘要 采用非参数DEA方法测算了地级市全要素生产率增长率,并利用281个地级市及以上城市的面板数据,实证检验了城市蔓延对城市全要素生产率的影响及影响效应的空间分异。结果显示:城市蔓延不利于城市全要素生产率增长;城市蔓延对城市全要素生产率的影响存在显著的地区差异;中西部地区城市空间的低密度扩张对其全要素生产率的增长具有抑制作用,但东部地区未受影响。以城市规模作为门限变量的面板门限回归估计结果表明,在城市规模小于182万人的大部分城市,其城市蔓延对城市全要素生产率增长率具有显著的负面影响,但对城市规模超过这一门限值的大城市,其城市蔓延对城市全要素生产率增长率的影响不显著。 This essay adopts nonparametric DEA Meth- od to calculate the TFP growth rate of prefecture and higher level cities, and uses the panel data of 281 cities to empirically test the effect of urban sprawl on city TFP growth rate and the effect' s spatial differentiation. The main findings include the following aspects: Firstly, urban sprawl has a significantly negative effect on city TFP growth ; Secondly, the effect of urban sprawl on city TFP growth is remarkably different across regions; Thirdly, the central and western regions are facing TFP loss due to low - den- sity urban sprawl, while in eastern region the effect is not signif- icant. Using city size as the threshold variable, the result from the panel threshold regression estimation indicate that in cities which population is less than 1.82 million, urban sprawl has a negative effect on city TFP growth, while in cities which popula- tion exceeds this threshold, urban sprawl has no significant effect on TFP growth.
