摘要
本研究采用问卷结合访谈,即采用质化与量化相结合的研究方法对沈阳某高校非英语专业和英语专业大二学生的英语词汇学习策略使用情况进行调查。结果表明:非英语专业与英语专业学生使用元认知策略较少,而使用认知策略较多;非英语专业学生词汇学习策略的种类多样性以及使用的频率低于英语专业学生;非英语专业学生多偏爱于使用效率高同时费时又较少的词汇学习策略,即重视词汇的量的学习而英语专业学生所使用的词汇学习策略多注重词汇深度知识的掌握,本研究针对此结果进行分析与讨论。
This research adopt both quantitative and qualitative methodology to investigate the use of English vocabulary learning strategies by non-English major sophomores and English major sophomores. The result illustrated that:Non-English majors and English majors used fewer meta-cognitive strategies but used more cognitive strategies;The diversity of non-English major students used less than English majors as well as the frequency;Non-English majors prefer to use more efficient and less time-consuming vocabulary learning strategies, while English majors pay much attention to use those strategies that facilitate to the learning of vocabulary depth knowledge.
