制度环境、契约密集度与制造业出口产品质量——基于微观数据的研究

Institutional Environment,Contract Intensity and Quality of Manufacturing Export Products: A Research Based on Micro Data

文章基于2000~2013年中国工业企业数据和海关贸易数据,考察制度环境和出口部门的契约结构对出口产品质量的影响。研究结果表明:(1)良好的制度环境有助于形成交易效率优势,从而促使企业出口产品质量提升;其中,政府与市场的关系、非国有经济的发展、市场中介组织发育和法律制度环境三方面对出口质量的影响最显著;(2)出口的技术密集度差异和制度作用的非线性特征,导致制度环境较好的东部地区其出口产品质量显著优于中西部地区;(3)进口中间品对出口产品质量的提升作用显著大于本地生产,提升本地生产的契约密集度和贸易附加值比率对贸易高质量发展具有长远意义。

Based on the Chinese industrial enterprises data and China Customs trade data from 2000 to 2013,this paper analyzes the influence of the institutional environment and the contract structure of export sectors on the quality of export products. The results show that：（1） better institutional environment helps to form the advantage of transaction efficiency and promote the improvement of the quality of export products. Three aspects including the relationship between the government and market, the development of non- state economy as well as the growth of market intermediary organization and the legal institutional environment exert the strongest influence on the quality of export products; （2） the difference of the export technology intensity and the nonlinear characteristics of the institutional environment lead to the better quality of export products in the eastern region with better institutional environment than in the central and western regions; （3） the import intermediate products play a much more important role in the improvement of the quality of export products than local production. There is a long- term significance for the high quality development of trade by promoting the contract intensity and the ratio of trade in value added of local production.
