鸟巢状发一例

Birds nest hair: a case report

鸟巢状发是不可逆的毛发异常,通常与使用离子/草药肥皂、洗发液、寄生虫感染、精神疾病的改变有关,本文报道1例女性患者,53岁,全部头发缠结4周。皮肤科检查见头顶有0.27 m长、0.15 m宽的头发缠结块。诊断鸟巢状发,建议患者剪除患发。

Birds nest hair is irreversible matting of hair and is usually associated with use of ionic/herbal soaps,shampoos,parasitic infestations or psychiatric alterations. We reported one case. A 53-year-old female presented with a matting of hair for 4 weeks. Dermatology examination showed matting hair of 0.27 meter long,0.15 meter wide. The diagnosis of birds nest hair was made. Cutting off the affected hairs is the choice to majority of patients.
