The New Development for the Purpose of Socialist Production in a New Era

任何社会的生产都有一定的目的,生产目的体现了社会生产关系的本质,研究社会主义生产目的是社会主义政治经济学的重要内容,是新时代中国特色社会主义经济实践的迫切要求,因此必须在指导思想上进一步正视与明确社会主义生产的目的,必须阐明为何发展、为谁生产、如何发展等问题。新时代赋予社会主义生产目的新的内涵:在生产发展和社会财富增长的基础上不断满足人民日益增长的美好生活需要,促进人的全面发展,实现全体人民共同富裕。应当明确,社会主义生产是以人民为中心;社会主义生产要满足现实的人的需要;社会主义生产要满足人民日益增长的美好生活需要;社会主义生产要实现共享发展、共同富裕;新时代实现社会主义生产目的的新手段等内容。

Any social production is bound for some goal, since the purpose of production exhibits the essence of social relations of production. Studying the purpose of socialist production is an important part of socialist political economy as well as the pressing need of socialist economy with Chinese characteristics. Hence, we shall face up to and further clarify the goal of socialist production in terms of guiding ideology, and figure out related issues such as why to develop, from whom to produce, and how to develop, etc. A new era also endows the purpose of socialist production with new connotations: to continually satisfy people' s increasing needs for a better life on basis of productive development and social wealth growth, promote the full development of human beings, and bring about common wealth for all the people. It is further clarified that socialist production is "people-centered" to meet the needs of real people, satisfy people's needs for a better life, and achieve common development and wealth through new approaches in a new era.
