Writings and Textual Researches of Wang Fu in the Five Dynasties

王溥是五代宋初政治家、史学家。其史学著作《唐会要》《五代会要》开创了新的史书体例,保存了大量唐五代典章制度史料,《周世宗实录》亦为两宋史家所重视;其所著诗文二十卷,大多散佚,今传世者仅有数篇。

Wang Fu was a politician and historian in the Five Dynasties and the early Song Dynasty.His historical works Institutional History of Tang and Institutional History of the Five Dynasties created a new style of historical books and preserved abundant historical materials about decrees and regulations of Tang and Five Dynasties.Records of Zhou Shizong was also valued by the historians of the period of North and South Song Dynasties.Most of his twenty volumes of poems and proses were lost,while only a few have been handed down to present.
