试论《红楼梦》中的隐喻信息及其翻译

Analysis of the Metaphorical Information in English-Chinese Translation Taking Redology as an Example

在中国传统对"譬""譬喻"的认识中,隐喻仅仅是一种常用的修辞手法。然而在跨文化交流过程中,隐喻承载着文化环境与文化内涵。以《红楼梦》中的隐喻信息为例,分析英汉两种语境下隐喻信息的应用,探讨英汉翻译中隐喻信息翻译的方法,有利于缩小语言差异,促进中国文化的输出。

In the traditional China of “metaphor” and “metaphor” understanding,metaphor is only a kind of commonly used rhetoric.However,in the process of cross-cultural communication,metaphor carries the cultural environment and cultural connotation.This paper takes metaphor information in A Dream of Red Mansions as an example,analyzes the application of metaphor information in two contexts of English and Chinese,and probes into some translation methods of metaphor information in English Chinese translation.It helps to narrow the language differences and promote the output of Chinese culture.
