Through studing the development of Latin American traditional medicine,and analyze the social and cultural background of the integration of traditional medicine and modern medicine in Latin America,and to understand the basis of medical integration.Most Latin American countries have failed to fully integrate traditional medicine or fusion medical treatment into the medical system,and have been in the stage of legal perfection of traditional medical treatment or traditional medicine.The integration of medical world outlook and traditional medical thinking and developing medical integration is an inevitable trend of the improvement and development of modern medicine in Latin America to a higher level.
