This paper introduces the numerical simulation experiment methods commonly used in the analysis of geotechnical engineering problems.Expanded from the basic principles of numerical simulation experiments and typical experimental cases,and through the comparative analysis of traditional analysis methods and numerical analysis methods,the characteristics and application scope of numerical simulation experiments are summarized.The selection and comparison of parameters are the main problems encountered in the current practical application of numerical simulation experiments.This paper proposes a solution to the comprehensive application of varied numerical simulation methods for the above problem.Numerical simulation experiments,which have broad application prospects in combination with geomechanical model experiments and field engineering verification,are effective tools for solving geotechnical engineering problems..
