Objective To investigate the clinical effect of aerosol inhalation of traditional Chinese medicine on hand foot mouth disease. Methods A total of 200 children with hand foot mouth disease were divided into research group and control group according to different treatment methods, 100 cases in each group. The control group was given general antiviral and symptomatic supportive treatment, the research group was given combined aerosol inhalation of Compound Prescription Dandelion Injection on the basis of control group. The chinical effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the research group was 94.00%, which was significantly higher than 85.00% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P〈0.05). Before treatment, there were no significant differences in white blood cells(WBC) and hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) level of peripheral blood between the two groups(P〉0.05). After treatment, the WBC and hs-CRP level of peripheral blood in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, the WBC and hs-CRP level of peripheral blood in the research group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P〈0.05). Conclusion The curative effect of aerosol inhalationof traditional Chinese medicine on hand foot mouth disease is significant and worth popularizing.
