With the increasing demand for the quality and stability of electric energy in the market, power enterprises should keep on the ability of power supply and the protection of electric power system, especially put forward the corresponding measures to solve the short circuit fault, to ensure a continuous and stable supply of electricity. This paper introduces the short circuit fault of relay protection power system and its causes, then analyzes the short circuit protection technology in detail, and finally puts forward the measures to deal with the short circuit fault of relay protection power system.
