This paper introduced the main revised contents of standard ＂knitted sports socks＂ such as application scope, adjustment of the products categories and assessment indicators, improvement of the assessment method of elastic compression circle, additional items of bursting strength and antibacterial properties, and improvement of the description for fiber content sampling location and hosiery size label. It pointed out that the revised standard is much more rigorous, which can meet the real requirements with an important and profound influence on the industry.
