摘要
本文认为《比较文明学》讨论了世界文明的起源与体系划分,分别从历史成长、民族、国家与权力、宗教和精神信仰的角度对于各个主要文明进行了论述,比较了东西方文明,对于世界的未来做出了自己的判断。通过文明的比较,《比较文明学》剖析了黑格尔、韦伯、亨廷顿和福山的西方理性中心主义倾向,指出了中国儒学对于当前以及未来的时代价值。当然,对于儒学的局限性,该书也做了论述。同时,对于人类文明未来的神学与俗世的理想国设计方案、福山的历史终结论和黑暗时代这3种预言,《比较文明学》也进行了一一析评。
This paper argues that Comparative Civilization not only discusses the origin and systematic division of world civilization, but covers the main civilizations from perspectives of historical development, nationality, state and power, religion and spiritual belief, comparing the eastern and western civilizations, and making its own judgment on the future of the world. Through the comparison of civilizations, Comparative Civilization analyzes the tendency of western logic-centralism of Hegel, Weber, Huntington and Fukuyama, and points out the value of Chinese Confucianism to the present and future times. Of course, the book also discusses the limitations of Confucianism. Meanwhile, Comparative Civilization also makes a comment on the theological and secular design of Utopia in the future of human civilization, the final conclusion of Fukuyama's history and the three predictions of the dark age.
