Objective To investigate the clinical value of montmorillonite powder and liquid dressing in the treatment of perianal skin injury caused by diarrhea in elderly patients with diabetes. Methods A total of 58 patients with senile diabetic patients with diarrhea-induced perianal skin injury were enrolled in the hospital from February 2017 to February 2018.They were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, 29 cases in each group. The experimental group was given montmorillonite. In the scattered plan, the control group was given a routine liquid dressing program, and the clinical effects of the two groups of patients after three days of corresponding treatment measures were compared. Results The cure rate of the experimental group was slightly better than that of the control group, but the difference was not statistically sig nificant(P〈0.05). The cost of the treatment plan for the experimental group and the control group was 18.7 yuan vs 175.8 yuan, respectively. The cost was significantly lower than the control group and the difference was statistically significant(P〈0.05). Conclusion Montmorillonite powder and liquid dressing have a certain effect on the treatment of senile diabetic patients with diarrhea-induced perianal skin injury, which can effectively improve the symptoms of patients. However, the cost of montmorillonite powder is significantly reduced, which reduces the burden of hospitalization, with clinical reference.
