摘要
外来文化在中国传播和本土化的过程中,汉译名至关重要。对文化负载词的一词多译,反映出各界在认识上的分歧,必定会影响到人们对外来文化的接受。来自英美的"punk"文化即是一个典型例证。四十年来,国内先后出现了六十余种punk的汉译名,在多方力量综合作用下,"朋克"译名脱颖而出,这既是多种新媒介传播手段对抗传统媒介力量所取得的胜利,也是青年们在外来文化本土化过程中拥有较大话语权的体现,值得学界予以重视。
In the process of the foreign culture transmission and localization, the translation of its title is vital. Various translations of the same culture-loaded word reflect divergence in understanding and will influence reception of the culture. The word "punk" and relevant culture could be taken as a typical example. There are more than 60 ways of Chinese translations for forty years. "pengke"(朋克)became an outstanding, long-lasting and common translation due to many reasons. The settlement of this translation could be seen as a victory of new media over traditional media. This translation case also points out that the voice of youth in the localizing of relevant foreign culture is very important, which deserve more attention from the academics.
