摘要 本文从当前大学生英语学习的现状为主要切入点,从激发学生产生学习动机、促使大学英语创新教学、培养学生英语学习自信三方面阐述应用语言学理论在大学英语教学中的价值,从因材施教、动机理论、交际运用三个角度分析应用语言学理论对大学英语教学的指导,并重点探讨基于应用语言学理论的大学英语教学措施,即加强教师教学队伍建设、精准定位英语教学目标、实施分级英语教学模式、构建大学英语创新课堂。 With the analysis on the current situation of college students' English learning as the main breakthrough point, this paper expounds the value of applied linguistic theory in college English teaching from three aspects: stimulating students' learning motivation, promoting college English innovative teaching,and cultivating students' self-confidence in English learning, analyzes the role of applied linguistics theory in guiding college English teaching from such three perspectives as individualized teaching, motivation theory and communication application, and focuses on the measures of college English teaching based on applied linguistics theory, that is, strengthening the construction of teachers' teaching team, accurately locating English teaching objectives, implementing graded English teaching and constructing college English innovative classroom.
