Student Participation in University Internal Governance:Experience and Reflection

学生参与大学内部治理对于建设中国特色现代大学制度、提升学校管理质量、促进学生全面发展具有重要意义。目前,国内外普遍认可学生参与大学内部治理的必要性和合理性,然而,我国学生参与大学内部治理仍然存在不足,如制度建设尚不完善,实际效果尚不理想。对此,政府要增加有效制度供给,完善相关法律法规;高校要培养学生治理能力,提供多样化的参与渠道;学生要增强自身责任感,提高民主参与意识。

It is of great significance for students to participate in the internal governance of universities to build a modern university system with Chinese characteristics,improve the quality of school administration,and promote the all-round development of students. At present,the recognition of the necessity and rationality of students ＇ participating in the internal governance of the university is universally acknowledged both at home and abroad. At the same time,there are still some shortcomings in Chinese students＇ participating in university internal governance,for example,the system construction is not yet perfect and the actual effect is not satisfactory. In this regard,the government should increase the supply of effective systems and improve the relevant laws and regulations; colleges and universities should cultivate students＇ ability to govern and provide diversified channels for their participation; students should enhance their sense of responsibility and raise awareness of democratic participation.
