摘要
改译剧作为中国现代戏剧的一种特殊种类,反映着不同文化、不同戏剧传统之间的交织与碰撞,显而易见的"杂糅"性质使其民族性的问题颇受争议。戏剧民族性应具有包容性与发展性的特点,因此,通过在新的历史语境中对原剧主题进行重现与重释,改译剧充分实现了译语文化的民族性,自身的现代性也得以发展。尤金·奥尼尔戏剧在中国20世纪三四十年代的三个改译本集中体现了中国现代改译剧中民族性与现代性的追求。
As a special type of modern Chinese drama,the adapted plays reflect the collision between different cultures and different theatrical characters of different countries. The apparent hybrid nature of the adapted plays makes its nationality controversial. The nationality of plays should be inclusive and developing. Therefore,to reproduce and reinterpret the themes of the original plays can not only attach the nationality of the target culture to the adapted plays,but also develop its modernity. The pursuit of nationality and modernity in modern Chinese adapted plays can be clearly observed through the study of the adapted plays from Eugeme O'neil.
