解读《午夜之子》中的历史文本化

On the Textuality of History in Midnight's Children

作为一部后现代主义、魔幻现实主义和历史书写的经典著作,萨尔曼·鲁西迪的《午夜之子》出版以来获奖无数、载誉颇丰。小说较深刻地表达了作者具有颠覆性、反叛性的新历史主义历史观点,突出了文本对于历史的建构作用与具体建构过程,实现了小说文本对于历史问题的追问与反思,其历史书写体现了新历史主义文本的历史化与历史的文本化特点。文章着重分析小说在历史书写中如何将历史文本化的过程,探究小说在书写历史时所持有的独特的立场、多种视角和多种叙述声音的书写角度以及小说重回忆和口述的书写方式,分析小说在具体情节安排上如何将历史进行个人化、多元化、碎片化、模糊化、魔幻化和消遣化的文本化建构。

Since the publication of Salman Rushdie＇s Midnight＇s Children,it has received numerous a-wards and praises. As a classic fiction of postmodernism, magic realism and historical writing, the novel is worthy of the further study in both art and content. The historical writing in the novel＇s text reflects the characteristics of the historicity of text and the textuality of history of the New Historicism. This paper fo-cuses on the analysis of the process of the textuality of history in the novel. It explores the unique writing angle of the novel in writing history, which includes the special position and multiple view angles and nar-rative voices, and the novel＇s writing method such as memory and dictation. At the same time, it also in-troduces how the novel makes the historical plots arrangement personalized, diverse, fragmentary, blurred, magic and recreational to accomplish the construction of the text so as to express the author＇s subversive and rebellious New Historicism view of history and to highlight the specific concrete process of the text and to realize the questioning and reflecting on the historical issues.
