The long - standing culture of central China and difficult migration procedure to Taiwan has cultivated the good traditions （honesty, uprightness, diligence and frugality） of the Hakka people. These good traditions have been manifested not only in their daily diets and clothes but also in such celebrities as Ding Richang and Lin Daquan.
