Interpretations on Kant's "Kingdom of Ends"

"目的王国"是康德哲学中一个意味深长的概念,在对它的各种解释中仍存在疏漏和误解,未能把握"系统性""互为目的和手段"等核心观念。依次考察宗教性、政治性与形而上学三种解读方式,三者各有缺失。尝试构建一种目的王国的解释方式,首先要考察"系统性"在康德哲学中的意义,并在自我与他人、目的与手段、私人目的与客观目的等概念的基础上,通过单边模式、双边模式以及多边模式,廓清目的王国的内在机制,展现目的王国的丰富意蕴。

The "Kingdom of ends" is a significant concept in Kant's philosophy, but there are some omissions and misunderstandings in various interpretations. Especially, they failed to grasp thecore thesis of "systematic" and "reciprocal purpose and means". Therefore, the first half of this arti-cle critically investigates three sort of interpretative approaches: religious, political and metaphysical.In the second half, the article constructed a sort of quasi-metaphysical interpretation. First, it exam-ined the meaning of "systematic" in Kant's philosophy and based it on three pairs of concept: selfand others, ends and means, private ends and objective ends. Finally, through the construction of uni-lateral, bilateral and multilateral models, the internal mechanism of the kingdom of ends is clarified to show the fruitfulness of the kingdom of ends.
