夏天，是荷花的天下。不管是从初夏的“小荷才露尖尖角，早有蜻蜓立上头”，到盛夏的“接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红”；还是从雨中的“一阵风来碧浪翻，真珠零落难收拾”，到月下的“十里荷花带月看，花和月色一般般”，荷花总能引人驻足观赏，更让人在炎炎夏日里有一股清凉之感。
Summer is a season brimming with lotus flowers.
In early summer, a dragonfly stayed on the lotus which was just starting to emerge. In midsummer, while the endless lotus leaves stretched to the horizon, the lotuses were basking in the glow of the sun and tinted with red. Drops of water were scattered to the winds as the green wave of lotus leaves rolled up and over in the rain. At night, a full pond of lotus glowed in the moonlight. The enchanting lotus flowers can always make people feel a breath of flesh air beneath a scorching sun.
