In Wilderness Station, Alice Monroe with the support of female writing meticulously reproduces the threats and violence in the flesh and spirit at the time of women were subjected to the social environment in which men had an absolute voice. The novel uses male's silence and women's victorious return as the end, which coincides with Bakhtin's carnival theory. Based on the Bakhtin's carnival theory, this paper discusses its revelry from three aspects: the carnival narrative structure, the carnival scene and the ritual of coronation. And then it reveals the author's thoughts on how to fight against male oppression behind the author's carnival writing.
