摘要
近年来,在英语学习中参与的老年人数量在社会飞速发展及人们不断提升的生活水平的作用下日益增多,出国旅游、应用于生活中等是其主要目的。从情感因素来分析,老年人比青少年具有更为明确的学习动机,没有学习压力,同时具有极为浓厚的学习兴趣和极强的学习主动性。但是,学习速度相对缓慢,也许造成老年人焦虑情绪的出现。一些老年人还会有胆怯怕羞心理存在,对开口说英语有恐惧心理,这些负面情绪均会对老年学员的心理活动造成抑制,削弱其学习动力及自信心,导致恶性循环的形成。因此,教师在英语教学过程中应该严格依据英语学习过程中老年人的独特性将教学对策有针对性地灵活应用。概述情感教育内涵,介绍营造良好的课堂氛围、准确分析与定位老年学员的特点与学习需求,激发老年学员的情感三方面内容,研究将情感教育融入老年英语教学的策略,最后对将情感教育融入老年英语教学中的意义进行了探讨。
In recent years, with the rapid social development and people s improved living standard, there are an increasing number of elderly people involved in English learning for the purpose of traveling abroad and daily application. From the perspective of emotional factors, without learning pressure, older people have more explicit learning motivation than young people, and at the same time, have strong interest in learning and strong learning initiative. However, the speed of learning is relatively slow, which may result in the emergence of anxiety in the elderly. Some old people are shy, frightened to speak in English. These negative emotions have a suppressive influence on the elderly students psychological activities, weakening their learning motivation and self-confidence, and causing the vicious cycle. Therefore, in the course of English teaching, teachers should feasibly apply the teaching strategies in accordance with the uniqueness of the elderly in English learning. This study summarizes the connotation of emotional education, introduces the creation of a good classroom atmosphere, accurate analysis and positioning of the elderly students characteristics and learning needs and the stimulation of their emotions three aspects, researches the strategies of integrating emotional education into English teaching for the elderly people, and finally discusses the significance of integrating emotional education into English teaching for the elderly people.
