"君子文化"乃中华民族的文化核心与精神脊梁。遵行"己所不欲,勿施于人",强调"仁者爱人",通过道德修养与人格完善,从而达到"推己及人"的伦理高度。于是,形成华夏民族既"威武不屈"又"温柔敦厚"、既"自强不息"又"厚德载物"、既"唯精唯一"又"执两用中"、既"独善其身"又"兼济天下"的人格特质与文化内核及思维方式,从而熔铸成五千年绵延不绝的"中庸之道"与"中和之美"。"君子"与"君子文化"作为一种文化预设与人性理想,其学理特征表现为:生命意志与主体精神的觉醒;伦理精神与族群使命的高扬;探索天道与体悟人道的自觉;人格完满与人生价值的实现。在建设中国特色社会主义文化的"新时代",继承并弘扬"君子文化"具有十分重要的当代意义。
