尽管习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的命题和某些主要的基本范畴都是十九大第一次提出的,但是,《习近平谈治国理政》第2卷生动地记录了它们的形成和发展脉络,比较全面地反映了这一思想的主要内容乃至建构理论体系的逻辑结构,充分展现了蕴涵在其中的战略思维和世界观方法论,因而在习近平文选尚未编辑出版,建构"新思想"的理论体系的权威读物也尚在编写出版中的情况下,就对领导干部全面增强执政本领而言,第2卷是把握习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想精神实质的权威读本。

Though the theme of Xi Jinping＇s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era and some of its major terms were first put forward in the 19th national congress of the CPC, their formation and development is vividly illustrated in the second volume of Xi Jinping： The Governance of China, which reflects perfectly the major content of the thought and even the logical structure in building the theoretical system, reveals fully the strategic thinking, world view and methodology embedded in it. Therefore, this volume is the authoritative book used to understand the substance of Xi Jinping＇s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, with regard to comprehensively strengthening leading officials＇ governing capacity, considering that the selected works of Xi Jinping has not been published, and the authoritative book on the establishment of the theoretical system of the ＂new thought＂ is still in preparation.
