范畴作为思想之网上的纽结,其内涵、结构与意义都是在历史中生成的。深入研究范畴形成史是任何理论研究与发展的基础中的基础。在形成史的视域中理解"社会形态"这一历史唯物主义的基本范畴,要坚持开放、动态、立体的联系论,而非封闭、静止、平面的要素论;要坚持抽象与具体、科学与价值的统一,而非各执一端。这对于把握马克思主义整体性,澄清各种对社会形态的误解和责难,推进中国特色社会主义事业具有重要的理论、方法和实践意义。

The study of the history of category social formation is the basis of any theoretical research and development.
