This article introduced the difference between the domestic pet culture and the west. It pointed out the related problems in the current domestic pet culture and the influence of the change and development of pet culture on the pet economy based on the develop- ment and characteristics of the pet culture in modern China. Finally, it put forward suggestions of pet culture, which is civilized, stan- dardized, inclusive and effective.
