为了保护在城市化建设中逐渐稀缺的林地资源和生态资源,森林建设成为我国现阶段大规模推进城乡绿化和美化的重要举措。森林建设涉及生态、产业、文化等各个方面,而森林学校就是把户外文化教育融入森林建设,充分依托森林景观和自然资源,让孩子在欣赏、感知和了解森林的同时,获得感触和启发,从而提高保护森林和关爱自然的意识。森林教育是对传统教育的完善和补充,也是一种发展乡村旅游文化的新思路。

Forest construction involves all aspects of ecology, industry, culture and so on. The forest school integrates the outdoor culture and education into the forest construction.
