This paper summarizes the influence of the new version of JIS on dry cleaning related industries in Japan, analyzes the current situation and issues of dry cleaning industry, and probes into the methods to improve the effect of dry cleaning, and makes clear the role of clothes manufacturers, dry cleaning operators and consumers in the implementation of the new JIS standard.
