《中山诗话》卷数繁简考论

The Textual Research on Simple and Complicated Volumes in Votes on Classica Poetry of Zhongshan

刘攽所作《中山诗话》,从宋代起在历朝官私目录中就多有著录。然而,此书的卷数在不同书目中被记录为一卷至三卷,数量不等的情况令人费解。在"是书卷帙,或有繁简,当时传录已有不同之本"等既有说法之外,通过分析刘所处时代的政治环境,关联刘本人的性格、学识以及其他可能的客观因素,能够对"或有繁简"的原因做出深层的分析和解释。

Votes on Classica Poetry of Zhongshan（Zhong Shan Shi Hua in Chinese）, written by Liu Ban, was recorded in both official or private catalogues in the past dynasties beginning from the Song Dynasty. However, it＇s number of volumes is varied from one volume to three volumes in different catalogues. Such different volume numbers recorded in history is really beyond comprehension. Besides the existing explanation about this status that ＂the book has different volumes, either complicated ro simple editions＂, the paper aims to make some profound analysis and reasonable explanations of this ＂complicated or simple＂ phenomenon through several aspects, including the political environment of the era, Liu Ban＇s personality and learning as well as other possible objective factors.
