From Folklore to Children's Canon:Grimms' Fairytales' Formation as Literary Canon

虽然《格林童话》被人们视为儿童文学经典,但格林兄弟搜集整理《格林童话》的初衷却并非为儿童服务,而是将其作为民间文学研究资料用以重塑德意志民族精神。作为儿童文学经典的《格林童话》是格林兄弟多次修改之后的结果,这种修改受到了18世纪出现的现代童年观念的影响,也受到了德国浪漫派"自然诗"美学观念的影响。格林兄弟在其中将自然和质朴的观念与儿童联系起来,使得《格林童话》成为了儿童文学的经典,也成为了文学经典。

People usually label Grimms＇ Fairytales as children＇s literature,but the original version of Grimms＇ Fairytales is not suitable for children to read,and the Grimms Brothers＇ true intention to collect these stories was to regard them as the remolding of German＇s spirit. Grimms＇ Fairytales is the result of the polish by the Grimms Brothers which was influenced by the concepts of modern children in the 18 th century and the aesthetics from the national poetry in the German romanticism. The relationship between the concepts of nature and simplicity and children makes Grimms＇ Fairytales become the Canon for both children＇s literature and adult literature.
