摘要
蔡元培百年前提出"以美育代宗教说",学界主要从论域错位、美育不是信仰等方面对该说提出质疑。本文认为,蔡元培将宗教与美育均视为广义的情感教育,二者之间不存在论域错位。我们从张世英"万有相通"的哲学思想和关于美的神圣性观点以及其他学者的相关论述,结合中国传统文化特点,可以看到"以美育代宗教"的逻辑可能性。
Cai Yuanpei put forward the thought of"replacing religion with aesthetic education"100 years ago.Some scholars raise doubts on this theory mainly from the perspective that aesthetic education and religion do not belong to the same discipline and aesthetic education is not the kind of faith as religion.In this paper,we argue that Cai Yuanpei regards both religion and aesthetic education as the general education in emotion,therefore there is no mismatch between the two.Together with the study of the characteristics of Chinese traditional culture,we found the logical possibility from Zhang Shiying's philosophical thought of"all things in common"and the sanctity of aesthetics and the thoughts of other related scholars.
