The theme of the androgyny is critical in Robert Musil＇s Der Mann ohne Eigenschaften,which formed the author＇s cultural-critical proposition.Musil＇s poemIsis und Osiris can be viewed as an androgynous archetypal image,which effects the sibling-love in Der Mann ohne Eigenschaften.In the novel,Agathe is the projection of Ulrich.The androgynous ideal achieved by Ulrich and Agathe can be seen as Musil＇s refusal to the stereotyped gender identification,and at the same time,the probe to the ethical relationship between one and the others.
