宋代是理学思想和文字禅兴起鼎盛的时期,文人名士学佛参禅成了一种风气,对宋代的文学带来了深刻影响,他们的作品中不难看出理学思想和佛学思想的并存。词作为文学形式发展到宋代达到了鼎盛,在大量的词作中也有着佛教的印记。纵观宋朝的历史、文化发展及文人名士诗歌创作的环境,可清晰地看到佛禅思想对宋词的影响。以苏轼与辛弃疾两位词作大家的词为例,禅宗思想渗透在词作中,展示出宋词的禅趣、禅理。

The Song Dynasty was a period when the ideology and writing of Zen cultivating flourished. The literati and scholars who studied Buddhism became a kind of culture and had a profound influence on the literature of the Song Dynasty. It was not difficult to see the coexistence of Neo-Confucianism and Buddhism in their works. The development of Ci poetry as a literary form into the Song Dynasty reached its peak. A large number of Ci poetry also bore the mark of Buddhism. Throughout the Song Dynasty, with cultural development and the environment of the literati celebrity poetry creation, it can be clearly seen the influence of the Buddhism Zen ideology on Song Ci poetry. Taking the Ci poetry of Su Shi and Xin Qiji as examples, Zen thoughts were permeated in their works, which shew their Zen flavor and theories.
