Application of the virtual reality teaching system in vascular surgery

摘要 目的探讨VR教学系统在血管外科领域中的应用和效果。方法以第二军医大学2014级临床医学五年制第二教学班62名本科生为研究对象,随机分为VR教学组和传统教学组,每组31人。VR教学组通过VR设备全方位地透过立体视角真实体验手术操作;传统教学组采用视频结合文字形式,讲解手术过程。结果 VR组与传统组学生基线资料无差异。VR组在笔试成绩(51.54±3.08vs.49.71±3.84,P=0.042)及总成绩(85.74±4.82vs.82.84±5.83,P=0.037)方面显著高于传统教学组。VR教学系统问卷调查结果:回收有效问卷30份(96.8%),新颖性、实用性、满意度分别为28(93.3%)、21(70%)、27(90%)。结论 VR教学系统与传统教学方式相比,可以增加学生的学习兴趣、课程参与度,从而提高教学成绩与教学质量。 Objective To discuss the application of the virtual reality (VR) teaching system in vascular surgery. Methods We randomly divided 62 Class 2, Grade 2014 undergraduates of five-year clinical medicine program into VR group and control group, with 31 students in each. The VR teaching group experienced the operation through a full range of stereoscopic perspec-tives with the help of VR equipment. In the control group, videos and texts were used to teach the students operation procedures. Results There was no statistical difference between the two groups in baseline data. In the VR group, the written test score (51.54 ± 3.08 vs. 49.71 Hz3.84, P = 0.042) and the total score (85.74zh4.82 vs. 82.84± 5.83, P =0.037) were significantly higher than those in the control group. Questionnaire survey results of VR teaching system: A total of 30 (96.8%) valid questionnaires were collected; the novelty, practicability and satisfaction were 28 (93.3%), 21 (70%) and 27 (90%), respectively. Conclusion Compared with the traditional teaching method, the VR teaching system can increase students" interest in learning and course participation, thus improving the academic record and quality of teaching.
