On the Stimulation of Environmental Changes to Inventions

发明的产生和使用都是在一定的环境中进行,环境变化对发明的激发表现在多个方面。一方面,人口数量的增加导致提供基本生活物质的技术、远距离交通以及通讯技术和增进人类健康等技术发明的出现。另一方面,当出现新的材料、新的技术部件以及文化环境变化时,发明也会相应的出现变化。最后,自然环境改变,尤其是重大自然灾难出现时,会很快激发"减少风险的发明"产生。密切关注环境的变化,有助于预测发明的未来动向,并且做出前瞻性的发明。

The creation and use of inventions are carried out in a given environment, and the stimulation of environ mental changes to inventions is manifested in many aspects. On the one hand, the increase of population has led to the emergence of many technological inventions for the provision of basic living materials, long--distance transportation, communication, and the promotion of human health. On the other hand, the changes of new materials, new technical components and cultural environment always introduce the changes of inventions accordingly. Finally, changes of the natural environment, especially serious natural disasters, can quickly trigger ＂the inventions of risk reduction＂. Keeping a close eye on the changes of the environment is helpful in predicting the trend of inventions and making forward-- looking inventions.
