提升科技期刊国际影响力的策略与实践——以Friction为例

Strategy and practice for promoting the international impact of scientific journals: A case study on Friction

【目的】以Friction的创刊实践为例,探讨"中国科技期刊国际影响力计划"项目对我国科技期刊的促进作用,与我国英文科技期刊工作者分享办刊经验。【方法】以Friction为例,结合摩擦学学科特点,探索创办国际一流英文科技期刊的经验。【结果】在中国科学技术协会D类和B类项目资助下,Friction发展迅速,国际影响力明显提升,2016年6月正式被SCI收录,首个影响因子位于Q2区,并连续2次获得"中国最具国际影响力学术期刊"荣誉称号。【结论】Friction通过坚持自身办刊特色,建立高水平编委和审稿专家队伍,组织高水平稿件,提高稿件时效性,加强期刊的宣传与推广,为我国英文科技期刊不断提升国际影响力提供借鉴。

[Purposes] Taking Friction as an example,this study explores the promotional effects of the Project for Enhancing the International Impact of China STMJournals（ PIIJ） on Chinese scientific journals,with the aim of sharing the results with scientificjournal workers in China. [Methods] Using the production of Friction as an example,we combined the characteristics of the discipline of tribology to explore and discuss the experience of establishing first-class international English scientific journals.[Findings]With the founding of PIIJ in classes D and B,Friction has developed more rapidly,and its international impact has enhanced significantly. In June 2016,Friction was indexed by SCI and its first impact factor was ranked Q2 in the engineering and mechanical areas of Journal Citation Report. In addition,Friction consecutively won ＂The Highest International Impact Academic Journals in China＂award in 2016 and 2017. [Conclusions] Friction adheres to persisting with its unique features,establishing an excellent editorial board and reviewexperts＇ team,organizing high quality manuscripts,improving the timeliness of submission,and strengthening its publicity and promotional practices,which can provide references for successfully improving the international influence of scientific journals.
