我国一流大学建设的异化与纠偏——鉴于西方学者的反思及其启示

在全球化时代,大学在市场压力下发生价值扭曲。针对这一现象,许多西方学者对美国大学在追求一流过程中的异化现象提出批判反思。布鲁姆在《走向封闭的美国精神》一书中指出美国大学因精神虚无而走向封闭;刘易斯在《失去灵魂的卓越》一书中批判了哈佛大学对育人功能的忽视;雷丁斯在《废墟中的大学》一书中指出,大学以一无所指的空洞的"一流"作为理念,最终将走向废墟。在新时代,我国开启了世界一流大学建设的新征程,本文客观分析我国建设世界一流大学的异化现象,提出建设世界一流大学的实践路径。

In the era of globalization, universities are distorted by value under the pressure of market. In response to it, many western scholars have criticized and reflected the alienation of American universities in the pursuit of first class. In the book ＂the Closing of The American Mind＂, Bloom pointed out that American universities were turning inward because of spiritual inactivity. In the book ＂Excellence Without a Soul＂, Lewis criticized the neglect of educational function in Harvard. In the book ＂the University in ruins＂, Readings pointed out that the university which used the meaningless and hollow concept of first class as its idea would eventually go to ruins. In the new era, China has started a new journey for the construction of world-class universities. In terms of shaping the form and focusing on core idea, this paper objectively analyzes the alienation of building the world-class universities in China and puts forward the practice path of the undertaking.
