Emulsion Polymerization Process in Polymer Chemistry

摘要 乳液聚合是自由基聚合反应的一种重要的实施方法,通过调控乳液聚合体系中乳胶粒的数目可以提高聚合反应速率和聚合物分子量,乳液聚合可以制备较高分子量的聚合物,它在现代橡胶合成工业有着重要的应用。在乳液聚合的理论教学过程中如何准确的描述乳液聚合过程以及阐述其聚合机理及特征是教学的重难点,本文期望通过对经典乳液聚合四个阶段的具体剖析,供同行及广大学生在教学以及学习过程中参考。 Emulsion polymerization is an important kind of implementation method in chain polymerization reactions.It can improve the rate of polymerization and the polymer molecular weight by adjusting the number of emulsion particles.It can prepare high molecular weight polymer,which has important application in the modern synthetical rubber industry.In the theory teaching process of emulsion polymerization,it is difficult to describe the process of emulsion polymerization accurately and explain its polymerization mechanism and characteristics. The four stages of classical emulsion polymerization were analyzed,which could provide a reference in teaching and learning for teachers and students.
